FABRIC TYPE<br /> Cotton, linen and viscose will dye to full shade as shown on the pack.<br /> Polyester/cotton and polyester/viscose mixes will dye to a lighter shade.<br /> Wool, silk, polyester, acrylic, nylon and fabric with special finishes cannot be dyed.<br /> <br /> 2. FABRIC AMOUNT<br /> One pack will dye up to 600g weight of fabric to the full shade, and up to 1.2kg of fabric to a lighter shade.<br /> Multiple packs will dye larger amounts to full shade, e.g. 2 packs for 1.2kg or 4 packs for 2kg.<br /> <br /> 3. ORIGINAL FABRIC COLOUR<br /> Dye combines with the existing fabric colour/pattern - it will NOT cover other colours.<br /> Colour mixing rules apply, e.g. blue dye on red fabric gives a purple result.<br /> Polyester stitching will not dye.<br /> <br /> HOW TO USE<br /> Weigh dry fabric to ensure you have sufficient dye.<br /> Wash fabric thoroughly, even if new.<br /> Wearing rubber gloves, empty full contents of pack(s) directly into the drum (not the detergent drawer).<br /> Add 500g ordinary salt covering the dye powder and put in the damp unfolded fabric.<br /> Run a 40C cotton cycle (do not use pre-wash, economy or half load cycles).<br /> When complete, add your normal washing detergent and run the 40C cotton cycle again.<br /> Remove fabric from machine, add detergent and run empty on a 40C cycle to clean the machine.<br /> Dry the fabric away from direct heat and sunlight.<br /> <br /> HELPFUL HINTS<br /> For front loading automatic washing machines.
